21:9 Aspect Ratio - 3440x1440 Launch Support
What the title says, I know not all of us use 21:9 aspect ratio but not having on launch day is a real bummer and I don't want to play the game with black side bars if the game doesn't support 3440x1440. I can't speak for everyone but for those of us who use this it would be nice especially for those that are gonna start playing next week on September 5th like myself for example.

I hope this support is rolled out very soon hopefully around September 5th for the early access players. Cause when the game comes out on September 9th everyone will already have 21:9 support.

I don't know, not having Ultrawide support sucks. It's like Skyrim and Fallout 4 with no Ultrawide support, I had to download mods just to have Ultrawide support for those games. It's 2024, come on this needs to be supported regardless of how many players use this resolution.

EDIT: We got the Ultrawide patch BUT the UI does not fill up the screen. The Game itself fills up the screen but NOT the UI, like your health and weapons for example or when you're in the Armory, etc.

Here is a link to a thread I posted regarding the new update and the UI on Focus Together Forums.

I guess expecting 32:9 support is out of the question?

well this sucks. I might just wait for it to go on sale then since there seems to be very little content now anyway.
I think many of you require ultrawide support and i'm not talking about resolutions.

They can add all of it not just 21:9, I just said 21:9 cause that's the Ultra wide resolution that I use.

It's real sad for sure , lets just hope it wont take them to long to do something about it. Or we will have to see if some magics can be done in the background that usually happends when games comes out and some smart persons fixes it.

Its so strange to see the ~3% of people using ultrawide on steam come out in droves.

the steam user data is misleading. A lot of people use steam but dont game that much. Ultrawide is very common among people who play games a lot. Basically the steam user data is kinda watered down by lots and lots of casual gamers. Every time a popular game doesn't support ultrawide there are huge threads with hundreds of comments on it.

~3% is accurate as thats about 3.96 million users. Thats a lot of people out of the 132 million total steam users. But even still thats only really a drop in the bucket. SM2 is on multiple platforms and the predominate TV screen is 16:9. the prominent PC screens are 16:9. This game will get UW support the fact that its not day one is what people are complaining about as they feel they deserve it. In this sense looking at the total amount of potential people that will play SM2 its still only going to be a small percentage that will have UW monitors.

People have already claimed the same mod that worked for WWZ game (same devs, same engine) work in this game. Its been confirmed in UE gaming discords

Don't get me wrong, it should ideally be there on launch but the standard is overwhelmingly still 16:9. 16:10 itself has around twice the amount of the ultrawides.
And 99% of those 16:9 users can't afford a $60 launch title. Totally real, not made up statistic.
