Well that's what I'm saying, Its nothing new, nothing different to what we ALL haven't played a million times before, unless you're just getting into gaming now.. And I have Most Warhammer 40K games, and I look at this as oh ok more hordes, at least fighting the orks they were funny to fight, SM2 is bugs........ Really, Even the the huge bugs are just swinging Massive blades and are bullet sponges.. Orks also had mechs, Would be awesome if it was the necrons too.. And where are the other armies that are more of a threat and were present in and around most battles?? nope just bugs..
That and honestly, between that, GW pulling the ♥♥♥♥ they pulled lately, and people going into helldivers' based communities to shove SM2 down our ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ throat, I do not want it and have no interests in getting it. Let SM2 burn
thats the difference
The parry system looks great reminds me of FF7 remake, a perfect parry will result in a sync kill, while staggering larger enemies. HD2 has nothing like this. On the subject of sync kills just like in SM1. They look sick and also heal the marine making it core gameplay, devs rewarding sync kills, very smart.
Ragdoll is something that you as a mighty Space marine will be dishing out not the other way round! AH have all this ragdoll and yet won't give divers any form of protection even with heavy armor. Bunch of complete morons!
Most games i played offer forms of stun resist after being stunned, diminishing returns or something to alleviate the issue but AH have nothing!
SST is great solid pick with the new upgrades and future update
SM2 its a lazily done console port to pc. all kinds of crashing and control problems. not worth the price tag it should be $30-40 for the standard edition. also lacks variety in everything except the marine armor color sets.
HD2 I have mindlessly put in nearly 600 hour of gameplay and I still enjoy playing the game. it has a lot of satisfying moments. the devs just need to put out some wins from their balance team and finally start putting out more content. once this stagnation is behind us it will grow again.
I've noticed this watching the gameplay, but I guess it looks that way because nobody has their stuff fully upgraded yet.
Still, if that's the case - I personally would prefer starting off with a boltgun feeling like a boltgun, and then being upgraded to something truly awesome, instead of the boltgun feeling like a whitedogpoogun, and being upgraded to... a boltgun.
Do you ever fight gargoyles like rippers? Big miss if not.
The game runs more than FINE actually - i have no issues most settings maxed and game looks amazing especially with explosions going off. How the game plays and what it looks like comes down to an individual's rig - PERIOD.
I know so many people complaining about every new release because their 10 year old PC can't run it on max... makes no sense...
HD2 immersion is fantastic, especially during hectic combat with strategem call ins.
You could play the EXACT same map, EXACT same mission and several things could make it feel like a completely different experience:
weather
lighting
enemy type
loadout
solo / team play
I don't think any game will capture what HD2 offers for a while...The only cope around here is those defending space marine 2 - which looks like copy paste AAA garbage. I played it, returned it - without hesitation. It does not have the legs.
if you are chillin on D5 good for u
Shills be shilling, playing some sweat fest spas shooter and calling it immersive, its like you guys are allergic to fun.
