weapon perks

if a weapon perk, like for the bolter pistol, says that after killing x i do 20% more damage for y seconds, does that damage apply to all weapons?

Similar, does +10% haedshiot damage also apply to all or only for that weapon?

There are a lot of perks that aren't perfectly explained but I believe it applies to the weapon in question unless otherwise stated.(like x kills with melta increases melee damage for example)

Since we don't have easily accessible damage numbers it's hard to test.

Im not sure about that, but i believe it only applies to specific weapon.
