Hmmm, "Ghazghkull Thraka: Prophet of the Waaagh" published in 2021. Orks got hit with new US politics too I guess.

However you feel about it, remains canon. So both interpretations are lore accurate. Glad we could clear it up :)
Sorta? 4th edition ork codex still clearly cites quote where ork used "his" towards another ork, so the change is recent.

Yes, it's almost as if lore changes with time. Also, thats an edition thats 6 editions out of date. So we have orks that use he/him. And orks that use they/them. Pretty cool!

Yeah, just like custodes being "sons of Terra" got retconned into "& knuckles" "& daughters".

This is a work of fiction, nothing about it is based in reality. Of course things can change, to think otherwise is a fools errand

I sure hope noone does that towards real personalities! Like some "historian" single-handedly making a samurai out of dude by editing wikipedia and citing works that were literally not published at time.

Good thing that's a completely different thing (even if true) than Warhammer. A fictional setting that takes place 30-40,000 years in the future

Surely altering past for political reasons doesn't apply to entertainment. Sarcasm of course.

Do obese lesbians with blue hair count as female orcs?
Orcs spawn from spores. Which is why they're a nightmare to cleanse from a planet. So, they're basically ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ mushrooms who, when fully grown, wield huge weapons and equipment (that shouldn't work but does because they BELIEVE it does) with a healthy dose of homicidal rage and the excitement of a toddler with their first balloon.

Why would you want females/males in that mess (orcs are asexual)? That would just ♥♥♥♥ it up and make it less fun. There's no room for gender when you have WAAAAAGGHHHH to wage.

It's established in the books that they have no gender.

They call each other boyz in the same way we use "dude" to apply to both men and women who are our friends.

They find our concept of gender funny.
But that is exactly what gender is - social construct.
no its not
