Do I do inferno mission or continue the campaign

Right before starting the mission a prompt telling me that operations was unlocked popped up, I understand that this is another POV of a mission that I was about to do in the campaign...
My question is, do I play the operations mission first or the campaign mission?

What ever you want. Operations is multiplayer pve basicly.

I think the operation missions open up as you progress through the campaign, they give context of what the other 3 space marines were doing while you were doing the main campaign, playing them as soon as the open could be interesting.

I'd just play through the campaign first, even though you'd be 'skipping' chronological content, as the campaign is Titus's story.

Worth noting if you do do operations, if you quick-match it is possible to see missions you don't have unlocked and spoil the campaign

I really wanted to switch back and forth between campaign and operations to get "the full story" as I played. But switching game modes is like a complete reload of the game. It just takes SOOOOO LONG. Me and my mates just breezed the campaign w/o stopping instead. Now we focus on the operations.
