they also shadow balanced some stuff. Bolt snipers can now 1 shot, which is STUPIDLY unbalanced imo. frags also have much larger radius and higher damage than before hotfix.

pretty sur if you camp too long the game switches the spawn points

if enemy players enter your spawn (or vice versa), it swaps spawns completely to avoid this issue. ive only been killed ONCE in my own spawn before it threw me on the other side of the map. this is a nonissue

Bolt Snipers one shot? Then why would anyone ever use the other Sniper that needs to be charged up?

I was in a match earlier today where the game chose to respawn me directly behind the entire other team who were all crammed into one corridor trying to get picks. I tossed my frag in there and killed them all. Got over half with the grenade and the ones left were easy pickin's for my 45 round heavy bolter.

Also, the issue wasn't resolved 10 years ago. Poor spawn placement is STILL an issue in modern Call of Duty, just nobody notices it because nobody plays any of CoD's game modes beyond Warzone or Zombies.

Welll the moment somone walks into an area that can shoot the spawn it flips the spawn locations i dunno what to say.
if there camping just outside the spawns there muiltipul exits one cant use too so *shrugs*

other snipers i beleive do more dmg on body shots, bolt sniper only 1 shot off headshots also anywhere on the map u can shoot somone with a sniper anyone else can kill u in 2-3 seconds with there gun too :p

that be cause somone on the enemy team walked into your spawn which force the spawn swap so u then spawned behind the other team.
which is on them tbh shouldnt walk into enemy spawn cause most of the time it dudges ur team over haha

It's still trash balance if they ever add bigger maps. In team fortress 2 you have to get a headshot with the fully charged up sniper for the one hit kill. In this if you can do it with the fairly fast firing bolt sniper there isn't much reason to bother with the charged one.
just had a game where the enemy team just rushed spawn every chance they could.

we swapped spawns like 20 times in the span of 5 minutes until it turned into an all out brawl in spawn where every person on our team was spawning in and dying over and over again.

Usually the spawn flips quickly enough to avoid this, but it seems like you can actually blitz or brute force it to the point that you get spawn locked for a bit.

Legitimately just died 4 times in a row as soon as i spawned and watched me and two other folks do the same

Game needs larger maps which would help with spawn camping. A spawn that cannot be infiltrated like TF2 would also be a welcome solution. One of the most frustrating things about player spawn is that its not only fast but with a small map it makes flanking to the rear of the enemy extremely risky.

correction: in tf2, sniper can kill half the roster in 0.2 seconds with a single quickscope. your rifle only can hit a headshot while scoped and scoping is near instant. even with no charge, you can instantly do 150 damage just by scoping in and clicking on someone's head, instantly killing scout, sniper, engineer, medic, and other snipers (not factoring in overheal). Demoman and pyro at 175 base health only require a very slight charge to one tap. Soldier requires a bit more at 200 health. Heavy needs ~50% charge to one shot at 300 health. a full charge on sniper's rifle does 450 damage and is only really needed for killing a fully overhealed heavy (450 health)
People are saying "Oh but if they enter your spawn it will auto swap it" .... Dude they were camping right outside it. They can shoot into it and not let you leave on some maps like Monestary since spawns mostly have 1 main exit. Not to mention one of the guys was a suspected cheater LMAO.

There was a way to get into and behind the zone that flips spawns. I know, because I was looking for a way to exploit it to figure out how it was being done. If you hugged the extreme outside of the spawn zone, you could slip in before spawns flip, and then if you hung around the very outside border of the spawn, it wouldn't detect you. It looks like this might have been fixed in the most recent patch - I've not been able to exploit this anymore, which is good.
