Worse performance after todays update
GPU usage lowered and framerate is dropping much more and am getting lower FPS than before the update

5800X3D
7800XT
32GB 3600Mhz RAM

Went from about a consistent 75-90fps to now 55-80fps

Then why are you the only one reporting this?

I'm having the same exact issues, frame rate was fine last week, new update and now it's so much worse.

same thing happen to me
fps drop from stable 86 to 55 - 60 fps
i run everything at max setting with my 4080 rtx
DomonK Sep 11, 2024 @ 7:29pm
Same for me was running over 60 now it hovers around 45 during gameplay and sometimes much lower during cutscenes

I can confirm this. Before the update I ran the game on low-medium settings on my GTX 1660 TI and had next to no issues. Now load times are longer and I experience freezing during gameplay.

I'd be looking to CPU utilization.

I was playing before the patch, patched, and played more after and couldnt visibly notice any difference in frame rate. I also wasnt monitoring the numbers. Did pay attention to thermals and they improved alot.

performance is really worse now. Not extremely bad but I suffered several 1-2 second freezes where even the sound cuts off.....

Clearly the new patch wasn´t tested. (as usual)

Yeah thermals improved but GPU usage went down a little and CPU usage remained about the same, if not higher

I can confirm performance is worse for me as well :/

I've been getting this as well after the new patch. Don't want to sound like a conspiracy guy, but the version of EAC that this game uses (The EOS version) has been known to cause frame drops and other performance issues in other games. Really wish the devs would upgrade to the version of EAC darktide uses which has better performance overall.

Seems like for me as well on Ryzen 3700X. Temps are about 10C cooler tho

Y'all try turning off Hardware Accelerated GPU scheduling. That seemed to improve my CPU performance back to the way it was before the patch so if you have the additional GPU headroom you may notice an improvement.. Make sure to restart you PC afterward and set CPU affinity to "high" in task manager when the game is launched.

same for me i was in 120 fps now down to 75-55

If it helps, I did notice a slight performance improvement when disabling crossplay.
