You have an annoying bug for those with two monitors

Every time I reopen the game, it switches to the wrong monitor. Fix it.

Yes my friend, but it is ignoring this setting and reopening on the wrong monitor.

I have the same issue. The game after a pc restart, the first time opens on the wrong monitor.

Win + Shift + Left arrow or Right arrow fixes this sort of thing pretty quickly.

Yep! though only sometimes for me which seems even stranger, I'd atleast understand it resetting it each time, not randomly picking one.

You can go into the in game settings and change the monitor.

It doesn't account for that, it'll initially start with the primary monitor and use that assigned number, but if the primary monitor's number gets swapped with another monitor, it will use that monitor instead.
So the only solution for the player is to keep them consistent, turning them on in a specific order to keep the numbers consistent, or just change the monitor the game is using in Video, every game launch that it changes.

I have 3 monitors and experienced how the game handles this first hand, it likes to use my 1080p monitor when I restart my PC, but on monitor shut downs and start ups it'll use my main because the numbers change, switching 1 and 2 for example.

Can't you set this correctly in the Nvidia Control Panel? Are you using windows to set which is primary?
