Steam Controller not detecting

WTF is going on, why steam controller is not detecting??

Seem like quite a number of players cant use their controller, do anyone have any solution?

Have to turn off Steam Controller overlay thing. On game page in library click on controller icon and turn that off. Then the game will detect your controller. It's dumb, but that's the work around for now.

Unfortunatly that doesn't work if you stream the game to the steam link or steam deck, even with an xbox controller, no input is detected as a controller. I hope they fix that soon because the only way to play right now with that configuration is to map the keyboard keys to the controller, then it works but you get all keyboard keys in the game ui... If that works shouldn't be so difficult to just map the controller itself to a controller input. I played tons of games with my steam controller with no issues, this is the first one I face this and it is quite annoying.

Damz... it didn't work. This is such a bad quality control from them. As the game its stated controller ready. Sad.

I agreed. The only way now is to use the users KB+M customisation till they fix it.

Mine won't even do that. I've remapped, nothing. Disable steam input, enabled, doesn't matter.

My steam controller has been working fine for about a year but now it won't take the bindings for Morrowind or Oblivion. I need help anyone?

tried everything, steam controller, xbox, ps5, and even switch pro.... enable/unable steam input... turn off steam overly... plug cable and bluetooth too. nothing working... something is blocking the steam input configuration, tats what i think.

REFUNDED. no point waiting for dev. shouldn't have bought it when its out. lucky didnt get it when its early access. such a shame.

I'm find a solution :
1. turn off steam input
2. connect any usual controller (i have Logitech)
3. launch the game
4. press any button on usual controller im meny (mb optional)
5. in steam controller settings change steam controller priority to 1
6. now it work
