Diversity Equity and Inclusion. but IDK, i'm usually noticing it with the guard, I'm not griping about the space marines themselves, aside from the lack of face customization which is weird, but definitely noticed it a lot with the guardsmen. Like the Major in the very beginning.

Cadians are not ethnically diverse, they're practically all englishmen with funny accents, half of those regiments aren't recruiting from diverse places, and most of the imperium (Depending on what system you're in) is not recruiting people like the Major, it seems slightly lore breaking. Also the Guard ranks are majority male.

But I mean they aren’t ethnically diverse though
Most of them are just based in systems and places of recruiting that are a majority white so why is it that’s there’s a major that doesn’t even really have the accent or ethnicity to match

Seems racist against Chadians to me

Show some respect. Also the uniform she has isn't standard cadian militarum. Looks closer to the catachan honorary uniform, although not a 1/1

Wish in general it wasn't always Cadians, there's other guardsmen in the Imperium.

Then it makes no sense she would have the purple eyes unique to Cadia (and likely their descendants) :P She is Cadian. Unless she is half cadian or something? A cadian brought up on Catachan? Might be interesting from a lore perspective :P
