Why are the reviews bad?
I cant find any reason to justify the reviews on steam

Technical issues mostly. A few complaining about the over-the-top data collection from the EULA and TOS as well as the inclusion of EOS and EAC which both notoriously cause issues in games.

Up to you if any of those are subjectively bad enough for you to care about or not.

Various techincal issues such as the Rendering Bug where enemies don't appear, endless loading screens and so on

some probably from people with ultra wide monitors that don't do any research before purchasing a game to see that support is on the road map for later this month.
80 percent positive is not bad

It is mostly technical issues regarding the game. I just tried to help a friend through it and there seems to be some type of issue regarding hardware from across the spectrum of good to bad.

"OH NO! This game wants my play data just like every other online game from the last 5 years!"

TIME TO LEAVE A NEGATIVE REVIEW.

Since when was 80% positive bad?

The only legitimate gripe is performance/technical problems, the rest are whinging about things that are being added in the next update or about EAC despite a non insignificant portion of these people playing games with eac lol

it's not good either.

but it's been on an upward trend so will probably endup somewhere between 80 and 85% which is pretty good.

You know you can literally just read the negative reviews to see what issues people have with the game, right?

This game getting an 80% is honestly way better than I expected, it's a niche IP follow up to a very underappreciated first entry.

i aint leave a bad review but i aint even been able to get past the first loading screen since launch day and ive verified my files and uninstalled and reinstalled my game multiple times

it's much much much better to think of steam reviews as "i enjoyed the game" or "i didn't enjoy the game" than anything remotely close to objective.

considering they paid good money for a playable game I think they have a right to whine... you could probably take notes as the only way to improve things is discussions...

Allowing everyone to give a recorded opinion is a mistake.
