Health restore on executions
It'd be neat to have some health restoration after performing an execution.

...Like the first game. This is so much tougher relying on the few stims we find

It's not needed. You literally have health on every single hit, even if you shoot at an enemy from the distance. Executions restore your armor.

We don't need that, some HP regen would be nice but you already ahve armor on execution, just manage your health and you'll be fine, skill issue otherwise

And those stims only heal like 1/3 or 1/4 of your health.

I don't agree.

Compared to games like the Arkham Trilogy, Shadow of Mordor, Shadow of War, Assassin's Creed, KCD, Darktide, and even Gotham Knights to a certain extent, the melee in Space Marine 2 punishes the player too much, without giving adequate rewards for skilled play.

In all of the games I just listed, the player has a variety of tools at their disposal to 1) Control the horde 2) Navigate the horde 3) Escape 4) Regen stamina/health/shielding to continue the fight.

In Space Marine 2 the player only has QTEs and Finishers to regen armor, and nothing else. The player has zero mobility, no means of escape, and a very slow run speed. The player has no crowd control to speak of. Meanwhile, the player - despite being a Space Marine - is far squishier than in 'any' of the games I just listed.

My suggestions would be to allow Armor regen on Perfect Parry and Perfect Dodge and/or allow Contested Health to remain active for 3-5 seconds instead of just 2.

On Veteran I've practically never gained any health from melee hits or kills, much less ranged hits or kills. Even executing warriors doesn't seem to yield anything. And on top of that the tutorial specifically says that to restore health, get into melee combat. These space marines feel like paper dolls being ripped to shreds by few basic mobs, it's laughable.

People saying (It's fine) have not ran operations on Ruthless or Substantial where currently it is borderline unfun the game style you have to adopt in order to finish those difficulties.

Campaign doesn't give you anything for finishing the game above easy, there's literally no point unless you either want to torture yourself or play veteran because someone wrote that it is the intended difficulty. Operations on the other hand lock content behind beating higher difficulties that most people playing this game will never be able to do the way it currently is.

You do get it on white health. They want you to prioritize regen.

I have. Still don't see the issue. Your supposed to avoid damage with the 4 universal mechanics they gave you to do so. Not to mention additional class perks/abilities. You will take some hits but you shouldn't be dying by any means unless you making a lot of mistakes and not using the intended design.

Edit some classes even give everyone back HP on execution. Level up.

As annoying as Leandros is, you'd think that he was right to report the Marine that magically heals his wounds by performing executions.

I do question whether Titus is in the clear given his cooldown ability

Contested Health lasts TWO seconds without the Bulwark's passive. With the Bulwark's passive it lasts 3.5. That's it.

If you lost your shield and health to a stunlock, good luck getting 'any' health back because you're going to spend anywhere from half a second to a full second just standing back up.

That's not true, I'm playing Veteran too and you can sustain yourself very well.

There's perks where you get health from executions and kills.
