would help assault
And those stims only heal like 1/3 or 1/4 of your health.
I don't agree.
Compared to games like the Arkham Trilogy, Shadow of Mordor, Shadow of War, Assassin's Creed, KCD, Darktide, and even Gotham Knights to a certain extent, the melee in Space Marine 2 punishes the player too much, without giving adequate rewards for skilled play.
In all of the games I just listed, the player has a variety of tools at their disposal to 1) Control the horde 2) Navigate the horde 3) Escape 4) Regen stamina/health/shielding to continue the fight.
In Space Marine 2 the player only has QTEs and Finishers to regen armor, and nothing else. The player has zero mobility, no means of escape, and a very slow run speed. The player has no crowd control to speak of. Meanwhile, the player - despite being a Space Marine - is far squishier than in 'any' of the games I just listed.
My suggestions would be to allow Armor regen on Perfect Parry and Perfect Dodge and/or allow Contested Health to remain active for 3-5 seconds instead of just 2.
Edit some classes even give everyone back HP on execution. Level up.
I do question whether Titus is in the clear given his cooldown ability
Contested Health lasts TWO seconds without the Bulwark's passive. With the Bulwark's passive it lasts 3.5. That's it.
If you lost your shield and health to a stunlock, good luck getting 'any' health back because you're going to spend anywhere from half a second to a full second just standing back up.
That's not true, I'm playing Veteran too and you can sustain yourself very well.
