Did you download the game to an SSD? Because thats essential.
Move the game to SSD.
My specs are pretty old but should be able to run the game according to Can I Run It.
Unfortunately I already tried turning down the graphics. Thanks though 😊

Had a friend with a similar issue, I think you can also pause/skip the intro cinematic by pressing/holding enter
I also have SM2 installed on a second old machine with a HDD and 1050ti gpu, can still load in and play fine on lowest settings, so it may just be the cutscene is too beefy
Yeah, that may be the case. Unfortunately I also tried the skip solution but couldn't get that to work either. I'll try it on my SSD and see if that works. Just have to clear up space. It's not very big.
