It's not that that is the problem. The dedicated Sprint button works as it should. But for some reason when I press and hold my Dodge button it triggers Sprint which it shouldn't at all.
They are not set on the same key.
In my case after the previous patch Space causes not Dodge but leap forward (I cannot call it Sprint for it is not a long distance), a very strange move:
I am attacked with Red Marker → I press Space → I leap into the attacker.
I cannot play anymore at high difficulty.
I'm playing with keyboard and mouse, not a controller.
Have you tried pressing another direction while dodging? I think if you just press dodge and no direction your character "dodges" forwards.
For most classes I play, tapping space is by default a dodge backward, not forward.
Holding down W, A or D turn them into a forward, left or right dodge respectively.
Playing on M&K with Held sprint, on Heavy, Bulwark, Assault, Sniper and Tactical
Ima boot up my game and check now, you're making me paranoid that this happens for everyone
Wow, yeah it does.
You should change the title to Holding [Forward] + [Dodge] makes you sprint. Holding [Dodge] makes me Dodge backward and then stand still.
Consider letting go of the W key, it's tired.
