I played a new mission today on level 4 difficulty, and it was challenging. It is new, so I had no experience of it. The enemies were strong, and there were too many of them. Several times I had no ammunition left, and we all died a couple of times. I felt no need for harder difficulty.
I think developers should focus on connection issues and weapon balancing. Connection problems can be fatal and they are not a skill-based issue. Weapons need to be balanced, because I do not want to use Melta, Plasma or Grenade Launchers, and other weapons simply feel weak in comparison.
The game didn't need new difficulty. The game needs polishing, balancing, and optimisation.
Yeah, that's true. Maybe with the idea I had. Set the outside coherency range regen for armor to be the one we currently have. And I think I forgot to mention that they should return getting armor from enemies outside coherency.
Yeah, that's why I'm bringing up things for coherency adjustments that give buffs to players in it, but don't actively nerf players not in coherency. I don't mind the difficulty bump myself, it's an optional feature and it's only meant for players who'd enjoy it. Not everyone is. That's why I'm focusing on a mechanic that applies to everyone.
Either I have to stay out of combat or he has to follow into close combat which is bad for both sides.
Any ideas?
