Goodbye brothers

I just completed the new mission on substantial difficulty with bots. Here is the list of elite enemies I encountered :

70+ warriors
4 zoanthropes
4 lictors
3 ravagers
1 Carniflex

The final boss is a Bio Titan. The mechanic revolves around you laser targeting the Bio Titan with your sidearm for the base laser turrets to fire at it. While you are in the laser targeting phase you can't switch to your main weapon for some reason which means you pretty much have to melee the waves of enemies that spawn. Then there is the "oh no, something is not working, plz fix to continue" phase which is such a played out and boring mechanic but whatever. After 2-3 loops of this it eventually dies. Thing to note, the Bio Titan will try and (i kid you not) "dodge" the lasers in one of the cringiest animations I've ever seen. Other times, it will just cloud itself in green mist because it "knows" you are about to fire.

If I am to take the new mission, the latest nerfs and "balancing" changes as the direction the game is heading for then no thanks. Please give my bunk to another brother who wishes to continue the fight. I'm out.

Yeah, I think the Dev's just don't want people playing operations with Bots tbh. Esp this new Operation. If you're the one with the gun then it's down to your fellow players to protect you while you fire at the boss. It works when you're playing with actual people, but the Bots AI just doesn't work, they don't attract aggro properly.

I agree that playing with bots is awkward to say the least. Not being able to switch to your primary is a bit odd; it's not like you drop your primary when using the laser targeting with your sidearm. Might even be an unintended bug. I can only imagine how chaotic it could be on Inferno with 2 randoms. The overturned enemy spawning in this mission combined with zone control objective mid-mission and the massive AOE from the Titan artillery is a bit much.
