Lol, the fist isn't only viable. Bulwarks power sword is the best one and most versatile with one shot potential with it's light attack + heavy stab combo. Assault hammer rekts any player with heavy combo/charge, also chainsaw is really good with it's heavy combo if you actually know how to use those (kick, shoulder bash and stomp).
For bulwark it's reasonable to have best melee weapon in the game cause, it is very melee focused hero and Assault with hammer cause it can make those dive bombs and followed with heavy attacks that will instantly kill anyone. I don't know how in the F you wanna make melees more viable. The melee focused class have enough melee power and the ranged ones with primary weapon has better ranged dmg output and It's perfectly fine like that.
As playing with bulwark mostly, I see 90% players just spamming light attacks and then they cry in forums how weak melee is. It's all about doing those heavy combos and light attacks just for finish some low health enemies or hitting them from the back and with primary weapon class you should never go toe to toe with Bulwark or Assault cause they blow you in melee combat easier.
Also they are going to add more melee weapons later, but you just have to wait a bit. You can't have it all at once.
Fist nerf was actually reasonable, cause you could one shot anyone just holding charge attack less than half second.
This ♥♥♥♥ had no counterplay 1v1, even as assault. Fist charge didnt get interrupted by ground pound, the more you know.
Im very upset and curious why tf they didnt nerfed shock nades yet, only one real problematic and critically annoying thing left in PvP
Yes the shock nades should removed or attleast remove that blinding flash from it. Half of the time you have combat is with white screen which makes me sick. :D
5,8% players have played 10 games Seize Ground
6,7% players have played 10 games Capture and control.
9,3% players have played 10 games Annihilation.
I wouldn't say it's majority of people with those numbers.
You can check it from your achieves if you have those like I have.
Just make blow up timer as regular grenade has.
Yes stats wise its like that, but i get people in operations slower than instahops in pvp mode, quite often.
Its simply not true brother. Practice 1v1 with someone as melee, its complicated. As starter to your researches - that one who parry always wins in 1v1 light attack spam, because he gets parry-counter attack window and his hit lands faster. Dueling chain sword spammer you win with half hp if you parry when he just spams.
But yeah, stuns on heavy attacks, charge shoulder bashes like in 1 SM, would be great. But please not the nonsense melee system from EC to bring here
