Balthasar gold after the patch looks totaly different and not correct

Hi there, I noticed that the Balthasar Gold after the patch looks totally different and not in line with the citadel color. I entered the game today after the patch and most of my characters look like bananas.

They changed some colors to make them look more lore accurate

it pops a lot more. Looks excellent on the metallic shoulder trims.

this feels like such a dumb thing to complain about, but man do I hate this new gold colour. completely ruined my whole scheme. wraithbone also looks like an egg-shell white or something lame now. ugh

Why is it dumb, a big part of the appeal of this game is making lore accurate or custom chapters, messing with the colors ruins that. A lot of people me included collect minis and know the colors by heart.

It was a very subtle orange hue gold tone that made it look warmer than other gold colors that also fit very well with khorne red, now its just piss yellow.

I mean WTF. They need to stop changing our paints. Sure they fixed Ushabti Bone, but screwing up Balthazar gold is straight heresy, and there is no current replacement.

Yeah Ballthasar gold was perfect before the update they need to revert that.

I kinda liked the greenish-gold of ushabti bone tertiary before the update. I think they should add it as a standalone colour

I don't understand instead why Abaddon black looks Absolute black on patchs but like iron warrior steel on armor 🤔.

Exactly right. A lot of people me included collect minis and know the colors by heart, and that balthasar gold is not right. I painted my HH WE army and know what balthasar gold looks like and what we got now ain't it. It's identical to golden griffin
