Champions Pack questions

I've bought the Season Pass, only to notice it doesn't cover Champions Pack after the fact. I can't refund the base game either because the game was gifted to me. My question is two fold:

If I wanted the champions pack, would I have to buy the Ultra Edition from scratch (70$) despite owning four of its contents (mc'cragges, season pass, ultramarines & main game) or would it take the owned stuff into account and reduce the price?

Also, in the trailer we see a special skin for Bulwark just like there's one for Heavy. Is it covered in the Season Pass or is that skin also Champion Pack exclusive? (as in, only Ultra Edition owners get it)

The Bulwark skin, and future Champions are a part of the Season Pass. But the Heavy one was made exclusive to the Ultra edition, and there doesn't currently seem to be a way to upgrade. Meanwhile the pre-order bonus is already for sale. lol

So if I attempt to buy Ultra Edition now, will it take my existing content into account and reduce the price or will I have to pay the full price and essentially have two copies of the same game?

I've no idea but feels extremely inconvenient to say the least.

Ingame you can view and click on the DLC, at least for me it takes me to the Steam website, apparently there will be something else coming up that will let you buy it separately or upgrade to the Ultra Edition!?

What confused me the most is the treatment of the rest of the skins. It is said that the Bulwark skin and the sword skin will be in the season pass so I bought it, only to realize no, Heavy and heavy bolter skin is NOT in the season pass like the others.

the heavy skins (armor and weapon) are part from the ultra edition. you can see it ingame and click on get it but the option is bugged and the link is only to steam store hp. hope the dev´s fix that very soon

My problem is that I was GIFTED the base game, I've mistakenly bought the season pass and now, if I want to get that skin, I have to buy an entirely new version at full price.

we can just wait and hope we can buy the ultra edition as upgrade or the skin seperate

Well, I'd rather that than it not being available ever again.

Unfortunately the industry is all about exclusives, premium, FOMO etc.

Best we can hope for is that they're not exclusive forever.
