Crashes or freezes every nVidia driver update/game update
Getting tiring now, latest nvidia driver for me causes massive hangs whenever the game is minimised, or a desktop popup appears. Crashing at the literal final cutscene of a operations match so the win isn't credited. I don't know what driver to rollback to or whether its a coincidence as the patch days come out at the same time as the drivers, but the game just isn't consistently stable and it's annoying because depending on the version sometimes it is.

My guess is that Saber's full of blind monkeys jabbing away at keyboards. My game's been unplayable since 30 minutes after it updated.

Check the YouTube video on how to clear your shader cache, might help.

They clearly screwed up with the precompiled shaders not being cleaned properly. You can also test this by disabling shader cache from NVIDIA control panel -> boot -> see if the game works properly.

Could you give more details on this, not sure where boot is in nvidia's control panel.

I thought I cleared out my shader cache for the game but maybe I didn't; do you have a link to that video?

Explains everything on how to clear it and restart it.

He talks a bit fast, so you might have to stop and rewind it a few times lol.

You're right, I've gone through disabling it and clearing the cache and the game works fine until I reboot my computer, then it's back to freezing for 20 seconds+ and more crashing.

Is there a fix beyond disabling shader caching, which isn't really a fix because I want that feature from my GPU? Am I the only one getting this as well as I don't see that much discussion on this issue?

561.09 is the driver i've - no issues whatsoever. You can try it if you want.
