Heavy Plasma beginner
Just tried this weapon for the 1st time and gonna work up to Relic.

I'm primarily a Tyranids player. Looking for advice. General strategy, builds, aiming (do you still go for HS on this thing?). Anything really.

Cheers.

When you are in heavy stance you shoot heavy plasma much faster, it's a big difference, especially in pvp.
can't feel the difrens in PVE

The main thing about heavy plasma is, unlike the pistol and the "rifle", you mostly use basic fire instead of charged.

In my opinion when used right it may be one of the most powerful weapons in the game when maxed out. With one charged shot (which will only cost 3 ammo with the right perk) it will 9 times outta 10 set up every elite/special and even some extremis like the zoanthrope for an execution on lethal (especially if you score a head shot). It's basic shots are also incredibly powerful on their own with a fairly big aoe to them which makes it perfect for crowd control and one of the highest dps for taking out terminus foe's. The drop and slow projectile speed are a slight learning curve but there is a perk at the end of its bottom tree that increases projectile speed by 50% and it is a very noticeable upgrade.

I am amazed by how slept on this gun is, its what i used to help power level all my friends as it excels in every field making it a great choice for solo players too.
I pray to the God Emperor that this magnificent weapon is never nerfed.

"Reload" after every shot, even in Heavy Stance. Even when using uncharged shots.

Fully charged they wreck packs of elites. Definitely want that in your repertoire. Uncharged for mooks.

Is it True ,that the Heavy incinerator had no Headshot multipler? If so ,does also the Same with the regular Plasma rifle of the Taktical ? Asking because of the Perk ,that kill majoris by headshot if Auspexed.
