Learning is hard for most
on lethal hovever bolters are crap
Ha ha ha xD
Omg this is pure real life satire, simply delicious I could roll with laughter, really ;-)
Saber, finally buff the bolters properly so that people can finally play a real Space Marine 2 by the emperor the name of this game is Space Marine, they use bolters !!!
Thanks for the thread, I haven't laughed so hard in a long time, really ;-)
What are you talking about bolters shred minoris. It's a bullet or two in the head then you add in more hits depending on piercing value and it decimates hordes. If it's tyranid all those little minoris bubble heads are at a certain height. Just aim at that height and see heads popping left and right.
I think it's worse to bring along a melta. Get to a boss you screw your team. People hate zoanthropes and neurothopes well if you have someone with a melta minimal help there. Any weapon ranged or melee can clear a horde easily. Sure a melta can stagger groups of majoris but why even stun them? Let them fire off attacks. All those are free parries for gun strikes. So many characters get nice buffs from gun strikes it benefits you to try and keep the uptime on those as much as possible.

Took a half-baked bolter into lethal as well and it was fine. You mostly use them for taking out trash anyways, and those still die in 1 headshot on high difficulties. You can get by with just a relic bolt pistol and chainsword/knife with minimal effort in 90% of situations. If you have a good understanding of the parry system and good game sense, it's really hard to die unless you make very stupid mistakes, especially as the stronger carry classes such as a sniper or bulwark.
And this is not meant to brag, it's just to show that it's perfectly viable if the player is good and understands the game.
Please learn how the game works before belittling you bothers.
Why clear hordes when you can keep them around to top off armor? Also everyone should be hunting for the snipers and other ranged majoris.

Lethal can be completed with auto bolters as seen by my clip, but I understand if you don't like teamates using them due to ammo and time.
I do think the bolters (god primaris patterns are ♥♥♥♥) still need adjusting but I have no doubt in my mind they're just as viable now as they were before the....well technically it was a buff but it didn't really change their overall performance really. People mis-using them is the most common thing I see, not bad bolter performance. It's just not a fun or satisfying class of weapon to use. Heavy Bolter isn't part of the discussion. It was fine before it's fine now.
Playing Assault and Bulwark I am often Last Stand, but I even cannot get to «superheroes» lying down somewhere far beyond.
