Dark Angels not coming in October

Anyone else notice that they removed October from from the steam page on season 2? Now it just says 2024.

Season 2 started in October with the new mission and difficulty, the cosmetics and pistol will come later in season 2, also season 2 lasts until the year ends.

This was supposed to bring the Dark Angel pack as well. Then they split the content and now are being shady about it. Just come out and say we are not going to have it ready.

If you watch the space marine 2 post launch overview trailer and pay close attention, at the 45 second mark it says "next update", then talks about the new mission and new difficulty, then at the 1:26 mark it says "coming next" and starts to talk about the new pistol and dark angel cosmetics.

They have so little that they are stretching it until SM3 is released. On the one hand, you don't have to put in a lot of effort, but on the other hand, you can always use small snacks to bind the players to you and the game. If you keep the players small in this way over a longer period of time, at some point they will be willing to buy anything just to have new content. This is pure marketing and will ultimately ensure that a lot of people will buy SM3 again with a paid early access FOMO weekend.

These people don't think like us players, they think years in advance, they have a marketing plan, you know? This is what this is about ...

Oh look, Dark Angels are coming in December now. Probably Late December. Someone needs to get the Inquisition in on this lack of content and broken promises.

These devs are trash, this game is basically Temu Darktide with some nicer graphics and Astartes chapters. Almost every single mechanic in this game is a watered down version of a mechanic from Darktide.

Darktide has a social hub for the BattleBarge
Darktide has character creation/customization and cosmetics
Darktide has a squad cohesion system that gives you **BONUS ARMOR REGEN** (not turn off armor regen)
Darktide has talent trees for all the classes with multiple valid choices
Darktide has weapon talents that actually change how you use the weapon
Darktide handles crowds/horde way better, adding more of them, not increasing their health
Darktide has way more than 7 missions

Darktide DOES NOT have Space Marines, which, lets be honest, is my deciding factor for why I keep coming back to this game, instead of playing more Darktide.
