NEW nVIDIA driver for DLSS3 support
the new driver states DLSS3 support so I guess it's for the upcoming Frame Gen patch

Still has that obnoxious blur compared to the FSR2 and TAA.

Is this update for support or optimization? I don't want to update, because nv drivers after version 566.03 are very ass.

I suspect it's to do with upcoming game patch for introducing Frame Generation, obviously drivers will need to reflect that. If you are not going to use FG i would skip it honestly, if you do plan to use it then i would recommend to use them, at least to see if they work you can always roll them back if something is wrong.

10th of december come the patch with dark angels

Im waiting for this patch, my R5 5600 is not enough to hold solid 60 FPS. FG could fix this problem.

I have tested 566.14 driver and it causes stutters in every game and fps drops for my 4070 ti super. Often I visit official nvidia forum, in thread "game ready drivers" people are saying it's not fixed in next driver yet. I would recommend you to don't recommend new-broken drivers (no offense), because most of people don't know what DDU is and don't want "surprises" with perfomance. Nowadays Nvidia are testing their drivers inproperly => need to be cautious.

what are you a smart arse, we have a life . . but you should use DDU to fix your stutter

My stutter... Read again what I wrote above.

Stuttering is caused by CPU/RAM issues and not graphics card, well it can be caused by GPU but only in the case of insufficent v-ram, on 4070ti that isn't a problem for you as 12gb is enough even for 4K resolution in this game - unless of course you are using 4K texture pack, then that's your answer, as that pack needs at minimum 16gb to run.

If you are not using 4k pack then the issue lies in your CPU/RAM. But i can't say what exactly is the issue, stuttering can be very annoying to diagnose and fix. I've had it in Elden Ring and god was it bad until i decided to disable E-cores, i've had it in FF7 Remake too and that was a nightmare but i did fix it, not remember how now but it took hours of research online.
Some fixes work in some games and do nothing in others and with so many diferent parts it's really a pain in the ass to get accurate info, so i feel for you man.

You can also try my drivers which are 561.09 - i've zero stuttering, since launch and i'm on 4080 so close enough.

he's running a 4070TI SUPER it has 16GB VRAM, meanwhile GPU drivers get borked when games crash etc and without a CLEAN reinstall it may not be fixed properly so DDU is always advisable

Ah ye the super part went into next line and i missed it. My bad. Then it's not a v-ram issue for sure. Well DDU is always good to do but i've personally never seen it fix stuttering for me it was always either adjusting settings from nvidia control panel, windows or BIOS for components. Still it's always worth a shot as you said, at least to rule it out.
