SM2 has an amazing campaign and fun coop and pvp.
if your only getting one I'd suggest SM2 simply because it has everything coop/pvp included.
But if your after a purely coop game then Helldivers or World War Z.
But for sane person the game is kinda small.
-Short campaign took me 4 hours
-7 operations in PvE mode 20-30 min each, zero replayblity. basically the same every time you launch them
-3 PvP maps
More on the personal side, i have played Helldivers 2, have all achievements there. And Space marines 2 is on another level for me. I don't run from enemies, i don't use bugs or glitches to win, i launch it, take my preferable class, pick op and see red for the next 30 min, absolutely gorgeous
Yipes.
What is the purpose of charging full price for what seems to be mere DLC?
Campaign is short
Pve can keep you occupied enough to feel like you got your moneys worth
I don't play pvp
Lots of technical issues that vary wildly from person to person
I feel it's worth a buy but if you have the will to wait for a sale, bug fixes or more content, do it.
The campaign is short, but good! And the game has more content in PvP and PvE modes.
If it wasn't 40k i surely wouldn't either
Darktide isn't completely different either, an FPS game.
However neither have you playing as space bros, which is the main draw. The campaign gets on with it, with little character development. Very pick up and play.
Mechanicus or chaosgate: daemonhunters. One you play as Mechanicus(meh) but your fighting the necrons. Daemonhunters you play as a squad of grey knights fighting mostly death guard.
You're not paying by the hour homie, you're paying for the experience.
Oh right, forgot about them.
Mechanicus has you playing as the Mars Weirdos stirring up the Necrons.
Of course the Grey Knights are super space bros.
