game stuck at 30 fps

Hey all im having issues with fps in this game fps is stuck at 30fps even though my cap is at 60 fps limit my specs are rx 6650 xt ryzen 7 5700x3d 16gb ddr4 ram and im running the medium preset with fsr quality any ideas?

Try enabling V-Sync?
Also I recall you need to install it on a SSD didn't bother testing what happens on HDD.

Alternatively use the default settings and re-customize to your liking?

yeah i have v-sync on at 60fps in game im on a ssd

try to turn it off. does it ever go above 30?

Check how your resources are used. One of reasons can be an app working in background, you'r pc condition/not properly configured video card.

V-sync works in a way that it locks your fps to certain target for example 30 or 60fps, if you can't maintain 60fps it goes to 30fps mode. My advice is to disable it, should fix it but you might have tearing then if you don't have adaptive sync or free sync on, not sure how it works on AMD, i've nvidia's g-sync.

its a fresh install of windows 11 only have steam installed using 8 gigs out of 16 monitoring with msi afterburner fps stays stuck at 30fps regardless of fps cap never had this issue on linux which i just came back from and its only this game im having issues with doubt its a hardware issue and i use the driver only install for best compatibility and to have less running in the background during games

And you're sure the limit cap in the video options is not set on 30?
On linux on occasion it forgets you want to use a higher limit...maybe on windows too?
Can't hurt to double check....

Switch to uncapped and see...
