None that I've heard. And unfortunately unlikely

I'm gonna go with, campaign cameo at best.
But ya never know. They're...a bit above weight class of a regular chaos, or loyalist marine. So awkward position I think to add factions like that into the mix balancing wise, if they're essentially just skin for a marine, cool, but also heh? Should be tougher.

If they're op af and some kind of dlc later on, well...brace for the p2w cries right.
Custodes, same kinda deal.

actually like just about everything else in 40k their performance is pretty much up to the writer, you've got some cases where they're in full "duel loyalist marines and if the normal space marine wins it's proof of chaos corruption and empowerment" then you've got some cases where chaos just treats them as another normal enemy, or the black crusade rpg where they're tougher but you can still mow through them by the dozen with some system mastery

the real issue is that they're all supposed to be psykers and sadly space marine 2 hasn't shown any sign of including librarians or sorcerers as playable classes

Oh. I'm not talking fluff. Talking about how Greys have a 2+ armour save, and marines have a 3+.

So, writers can wave and employ plot armour all they want, but in the rules of the game, Grey Knights are tougher. They're an elite fighting force, not regular marines.

oh if we're sticking purely to mechanics aye, they're definitely meant to be better than just baseline space marines and make up for that with higher point cost, though sadly the other reason for that (the all psykers part which... kinda goes back and forth on how useful it is depending on that edition's rules for psykers) sadly counts against them here

they might show up as a campaign cameo or something like you said but I suspect if they try to sell grey knights cosmetics it's going to be a hard sell without also including librarian/sorcerer class

I don't know that it'd be a hard sell. Their aesthetic is awesome!

I only play Kill Team, and there the Grey Knights are actually weaker than the newer loyalist or chaos marines. For some reason.

Make a bespoke Grey Knights kill team, GW!

Wouldn't really fit the narrative. On colonized worlds if the citizens / militia / Astra Militarum / (Astartes chapters that interfere..) they are sentenced to Exterminatus if they even See the gray knights or the Warp Spawn, they are pretty much donezo, see gray knights vs space wolves :D and regardless of space wolf intervention, the gray knights still tried to Exterminatus the entire planet, even being ordered to kill the space wolf chapters that got in their way

We may see them though, if they add daemon DLC, they dont really fit with just xenos

You do know that if Grey Knights appears it usually doesn't end well for everyone else involved. They tend to purge everyone once their job is done. But who knows I can only see them appear in the multiplayer and not in the single player and even then this doesn't feel very likely...

Not really. Depends on the importance of the world lol and who is in charge at the time.

As you mentioned, the space wolves survived... and executed a grey knight master for betraying the right of truce or whatever.

Cosmetic wise I'd say there's a real good chance... though the one hurdle might be whether grey knights have primaris or not (I don't think they do) but purely for cosmetics they might ignore it because canon wise, our ops marines are ultramarines period.
Lol can you imagine the complaints? "My Grey Knight isn't powerful enough, he should have psychic abilities, why can't he teleport everywhere?"
Its because its not possible to make a good 3rd/1st person shooter about Grey Knights, or anything above a Terminator armored space marine. They're too OP to "play" in a game.
Sifer2 Jan 15 @ 6:26pm
We keep getting these topics but the answer is always same. No because they are not Primaris. And we don't have Psykers in this. And because they would have to kill everyone to hide they were ever there lol. They also use a lot of weapons that are not in the game.
