However, it will most likely be available to play via compatibility software. People on more powerful Macs (M3, lots of ram) have had no issues running it via software such as Crossover with the CXpatcher patch. But, the game uses EasyAntiCheat and doesn't appear to run well (yet) on older m-chip Macs. The game's use of easy anti cheat means that you will be able to play singleplayer, but never any multiplayer. (When playing a game with EasyAntiCheat via bottling/emulation/compatibility software, it installs the Windows version of the anti-cheat software which proceeds to commit seppuku since you're not actually running it on a Windows pc)
I personally have tested it out with compatibility software on a M1-pro with 16gb ram, and got the singleplayer to run fine on lower graphics. But it unfortunately doesn't get great performance overall in larger/open areas (playable but not smooth).
That's how that particular infinite grenades-ammo-hp trainer works that some players seem to use.
Cool! I will go ahead and test it with a friend in a couple days then. I can't imagine the PVP would function, but it would be great if they allowed PVE to continue this way.
