This makes no sense why this wouldn't be an option. My Internet isn't the fastest so 80GB would take around 4-5 hours. Granted it's light years better than what I grew up with and my area has no access to any kind of high speed internet. I enjoy cabin life in the woods, but sure is nice to preload.

Buddy I literally have a gigabit fibre internet going on average 680 mbps which is 85 MB/s but on quieter days I can easily go to 900 mbps which is 112.5 MB/s.

And I am not some some rich bloke with money coming out my arse. I'm just a dude who lives on his own working minimum wage 😂😂 Fibre internet in the UK is now not only common but cheap and easily available. I'm paying £35 PCM for these speeds which is a steal for what I am getting.

Maybe but the downside is that you have to live in the UK which isn't worth it lol. No but seriously that's a nice deal :) It's a lot more expensive here so I just make do with my 100mb/s up 100mb/s down, which costs about the same as you're paying :P

Now I have 1300 Mbps I can download a full game in 10 min, Make a cup of tea and done. Only costs £34 per month for GIG Net by Virgin Media in UK. Most of UK has full fibre now, I moved house to a new build a year ago, this house has gig net, I got emails just after i moved my old house just got gig net and its 8 miles outside of sheffield city center. My dads house has gig net as well in a suburb bungalow in an area of old people mostly. Even the very poor run down flats in sheffield has gig net lol.

Actually what is a funny fact, It takes LONGER to decrypt and unpack a preloaded game, than it does to download it post launch with gig net.

Most of the area consists of "country" or "hood" sprinkled in with "new emerging" planned communities areas of overgrowth. It''s actually gotten so bad with apartments being throw up everywhere, I have no clue how the old infrastructure is going to accommodate.the original cities that had space left that they're throwing stuff up in.

And let's just say the famous city where "I Dream of Genie" was filmed is probably the worst in the area... I lived there briefly decades ago and even then it was just an alcoholic, drug infested, low end city. How far ye have fallen.

The USA etc has all their cables on poles in the air, a storm often takes out people internet and can be down for days or weeks. In the UK being the first country to have proper infrastructure and underground cables our entire system is much more expensive and slower to upgrade, but when theres wind your net wont go down.
