Is Playing Space Marine 1 Worth It?

I understand completing it is an oppurtunity to get the full story, but is the gameplay worth the purchase to finish then try Space Marine 2?

yes as this is a continuation of the first game and it's really worth it to understand what's going on

Yes but only if it's on sale. Its a great game, but I wouldn't say it's worth $60
