There aren't female Space Marines, but.... there ARE Female Custodes, which are way more powerful than Space Marines.... They recently retconned the lore in 10th Edition 40k (June of 2023) to say that there have ALWAYS been female custodes, since the Unification Wars. If you don't believe me, just google "Female Custodes 40k".

No, there won't be any female Space Marines in any of the games unless Games Workshop (the company that owns the Warhammer 40k Franchise) makes changes to the lore/tabletop game. Female Space Marines would be a massive, controversial change to the franchise; there was already a massive uproar when they revealed that some of the Custodes were female. (Custodes are basically super, suuuuper duper soldiers way above the Space Marines).

Considering there's at least one woman Custodes, it's not out of the realm of possibility for GW to adjust the lore such that there could be women in the Astartes. Any "backlash" they might get really doesn't matter at this point; the only people who would give up on 40k over something as benign as letting some of the Astartes be women are the sort of people GW has been trying to get out of the hobby for a decade now.
