It also doesnt mean high player counts since Halo Infinite now only averages 3,000 players on steam all of which are the most hardcore halo fans who would have bought the game anyway. Those are awful numbers for a f2p game with no barrier to entry, worse than Darktide's somehow... Actually pretty wild how unpopular Halo infinite is considering the juggernaut Halo used to be.
Halo Infinite is another story, while the game has production value, the gameplay loop was very boring and the game very simplistic with very little changing from other halo games.
I dont see this game doing well only based on the pre-order crowd
