Operations mode is only "fighting swarms of Tyranids"?
I knew the campaign was about fighting Tyranids, but I was expecting the Operations mode to have different types of enemies and objectives, offering more variety in the gameplay...
If Operations mode only offers the same gameplay and same enemies we already have in the campaign, it's really disappointing.
I have no intention of playing PvP mode in this game, but I had high hopes for the Operations mode... I guess the game is not worth the price for me then.

Both Chaos and Tyranids are enemies in both the campaign and operations. It's also been stated that new enemies will be added as part of free updates post launch, among other content.

Every season, there will be updates coming in, sometimes similar to the leagues in Path of Exile and SnowRunner, if the game is highly successful, it could be as good as or even better than HELLDIVERS™ 2

I’m looking forward to the updates where we get to fight against the four Chaos and the xenos in the 40k universe, and experience massive war scenes. I’m also excited about having more than three players in battles against the overwhelming hordes of enemies.

If the executives see the vision in the 40k universe, I can tell you this game will have so much content that players will be amazed. I bet on it because the previous game, Darktide, suffered from the executives not seeing its importance and vision, resulting in a poor and rather boring performance

Updates or paid DLC?

I hope you are right. The game has so much potential...

Don't buy it then. Go play the next Call of Duty where you can shoot enemy soldiers, and soldiers, and also...soldiers.

I feel like genestealer cults should be looked into in a post-release addition to the base game. I know Hormagaunts are meant to be the swarming enemy, though they don't really fulfill the "guaranteed execution" role that grots and guardsmen did in SM1.

This franchise has such absolute potential. I truly hope this game is a massive success and they layer in great supplementary content over the coming 'seasons'.

There is so much to draw from in the WH40k universe.

I heard "They want to add Orks and Eldar" but I don't know if its legit. Probably not. Would welcome it.

Personally, i kinda felt that SM1 would've benefitted from having eldar and tyranids to beat up. Imagine getting to beat up Orks and Eldar in a post-release Operation
