How long is the max weapon grind? Anyone weighed in, yet?

In the closed beta videos it was clear that some testers had maxed out their character skills, but a bit murky on whether they had maxxed out one of the primary weapons. Has this been confirmed via dev or closed tester in terms of the hour/playtime grind involved in acquiring one of the locked max weapon choices?

No clue but it seems a lot longer than the classes. Classes its estimated around 20 hours and there will eventually be a prestige thing.

Unlocking colours/skins stuff, seems to be shared with weapon + class unlocks. So it's perma blue boy meta till a few weapons are maxxed out then focus on cosmetics after.

Is it stated anywhere that progression will be interchangeable between pvp and pve. Like, if you level a class to max in pvp, it will also be max in pve
