Do Terminator Space Marines die?

Can terminator space marines die? Are they suppose to be invincible?

Space marines, well most of them, are more super powered human beings, not so much terminators. I'm sure there's some mixed in there somewhere though, this universe gets silly in places.
To answer that, no they are not invincible. Hard to kill? Yes. Designed to be battle ready and blow things up? Sure. But not invincible.

Terminators are basically just a special heavy-duty suit of armor that is worn usually by either long-standing veterans of a high rank or during special duty (the special duty in question usually being exploring a Space Hulk, which have a high likelihood of having Genestealer cults, which can be dangerous in force). For general use Terminator armor is often nearly overkill, but against Genestealers the armor is barely even much of a barrier and the real reason they use it is so they can dual-wield heavy weapons, like heavy bolters, assault cannons, heavy flamers, plasma cannons, thunder hammers, and the like, since you need HEAVY ordinance with a LOT of ammo reserve to cut through the hordes of Genestealers before they reach you and cut you open like a tin can (and being able to wield an assault cannon in one hand and a heavy power fist or a thunder hammer in the other will also do a lot to keep you alive against such a horde).

To put into small words Terminators are forklift certified (Joking aside they are veterans usually only given to the first company) and yes they can die just like regular marines

any space marine can die, but if an apothecary can extract their c*m in time (geneseed), then they can be sort of cloned and reborn

they are tough but not invincible
normal people can kill space marine, it just really really really really HARD nearly impossible
but still possible

I assure you the 132mm Earthshaker Cannon is very capable of killing a Terminator.

Genestealers figured out this one weird trick. Terminators hate them

Terminators are tough until Genestealer rending claws/talons carve them up like butter. 3rd-5th edition Terminators (more so 3rd) and Space Hulk were always a case of them being either really good one moment or dropping like flies. Especially 3rd edition because back then they didn't have invulnerable saves (at the start) and only had one wound. It was possible for half the squad to die from lucky Ork shooting and then die without being able to hit back in melee due to Power fists automatically striking last and one wound didn't get them far.

3rd edition overall was rather swingy and I liked it.

Normal Space Marine are Op until they meet something like the Assassins, Phoenix Lord, elven clowns etc
