The heretic legions debacle - make your voice heard

Sad to hear about how they are mishandling the traitor legions. Will be canceling my pre-order and not repurchasing until they rectify this and I urge everyone else with this to make yourself very vocal

the situation: Yesterday they announced that heretic legions will be tied to specific classes in pvp and not be able to customize armor. This is a stark contrast to what was in sm1 and a huge let down to heretic Astartes fans. The lifeblood of this game's sustainability will be pvp and this is removing most customization from one side while keeping it for the other.

Yeah, while it isn't going to stop me from getting the game, it is a bit disappointing lol

an extra mode....that they implemented dedicated servers for! PvE looks cool but 6 missions at launch.....6, and they are tied to the story....how many times can you replay 6 missions on the SAME MAPS even at the hardest setting before it gets old!

What they should do is make a PvPvE! Half way through a match the whole map gets swarmed by Nids and they attack both teams and decap points! Make the bots hard too!

Ya, the biggest issue with Darktide is the wasted potential. It's actually a REALLY fun game - but it's essentially rudderless.

There really is no reason to keep coming back after you reach level 30 and have a fun setup.

The cosmetics you can earn are trash, Once you have a solid weapon - there is nothing more to grind or play for except to pass the time occasionally.

Yeah im a hypocrite because I play games you dont like and want sm2 to have the same design philosophy as sm1. sure dude.

If you played one you would know i'm asking for it to be the same as one cosmetically and sm1 clearly the pvp was not an afterthought. Nor is it in 2, they just made a bad design decision that can be corrected, it has nothing to do with it being "an after thought"

but overall you have a really bad attitude and are very unpleasant. This is the last response i'm giving you.

It's disappointing but lack of Chaos customization is hardly a reason to not buy the game at launch. Just make it known you want it, and then if they don't produce more Chaos skins they are leaving money on the table. I imagine they already have plans otherwise they would have just made Chaos none playable at all just making the enemy team appear to be Chaos from your point of view.

Makes chaos feel like an afterthought. Really dumb to lock classes to specific legions, makes me not want to play pvp at alll. Both sides should be customizable in the same way, it is a no brainer. However I do not care that much about the pvp in the game anyway thus I stick with my pre order.


Even tho this is a negative. No reason to buy any skins for chaos cause it might on a class you do not enjoy or whatever. Sometimes it is weird to see companies skip on very obvious monetization possibilities.

I assume the point of giving the PvP classes specific looks is so players can identify what class they're fighting at a glance.

^Maybe, but the idea that the developers were "just lazy" doesn't seem any more likely.
Maybe it's a license thing, maybe it's resources thing, or maybe there's a gameplay reason. Either way, I can't get worked up over cosmetics in the PvP mode of a predominantly single player game.
Maybe the devs will add more Chaos related options later.

Absolutely agree, seems like a blunder by GW not letting them have the rights for looks/property of chaos marines and it should change. they're missing out on easy money

I just want to play as a Word Bearer when I'm not a Blood Angel, simple as. I don't want to be stuck with a class I don't like or that I'm not good at using just to do so.

IDK, maybe it won't be as bad as it sounds, but it sounds kind of annoying on paper

wwz didnt have pvp. They had PvPvE.
