google also tells me New World Interactive got shut down, so i dont imagine theyll be working on many games at all anymore
New World Interactive was a part of Saber tho and NWI did get shut down but that was because of Embracer killed it and that's where the game turned into crap.
I mean it was already going downhill with dumb decisions and just doing the opposite of what community wanted.
I heard they are russian which means :/ but with GW holding their hand there might be a glimmer of hope
GW don't hand hold at all, they just throw their IP around willy nilly and hope something sticks. There are plenty of terrible GW games I wouldn't touch with someone elses. And some good ones. But that's what happens when you go for quantity over quality, most will be ♥♥♥♥, with a few standouts.
I'm also impressed that the developers created the storyline, maps, and enemies from scratch, based on just one movie, WWZ, which is quite different from the Warhammer 40K universe that has so much lore to draw from. However, I still wish for large PvE maps and sandbox-style missions, like those in Helldivers 2.
