This rhetoric getting as tired as “AoS sucks! Lolz” even tho more popular than the dying game that fantasy was, ever was.

Things change. Get over it. Least gave old models 2 wounds, and if don’t play tabletop…why do you care? Books are all fluff.
books are fanfic, i play 3rd edition, send gw after me and then eat ♥♥♥♥ :}

The most annoying part of most of these people is they dont even buy the mini's, the primary cause of the complaints. They are just going off some rando reddit thread or youtube personality.

i literally don't care if u doubt me, i have enough pewter models collected since 1998 to drop on your torso and provide your skull to khorne

I basically stopped playing the tabletop after they were introduced. Started my Space Marine army 20 years ago in 4ed, made my own Iron Hands successor chapter and continuously built a big army over the years, then suddenly it's all second row Marines, even the tanks and dreadnoughts. By now I only play Killteam, at least we got a new cool scout team. In Space Marine 2, at least the Chaos Marines are Oldmarines so im mostly looking forward to them. Won't stop me from playing but I still do not like the whole Primaris thing.

I don't like how Primaris Marines trivialized all the firstborn marines in the lore. The Primaris Marines should have just been Games Workshop making true scale miniatures, however - GW is a miniatures selling company first and foremost, and there's no arguing that Primaris Marines sold insanely well. So it was a great business decision, even though a lot of people don't like what it did for the lore.

That’s fine. Play what you want.
I doubt any new 40k related products are going to be based of the rules or lore of old editions, but if sticking to 3e makes you happy, knock yourself out.

Same. The Primaris look cool. And that's all they really should have been; new cool looking armor.
"The AdMech has developed new 'Primaris' pattern power armor and weapons, and will be rolling them out to the Space Marine chapters! A new line of Primaris equipped marine models in stores now!"
Instead of this overly complicated origin story and lore smoothing about how one crazy Tech Priest spent thousands of years trying to secretly improve on the Space Marines ... just to create ones that are slightly better in every way (including their ability to be trademarked) without actually being different. The in-universe justification for Primaris marines is bad fanfic, and the real-world justification could have just been, "We need to keep selling minis in order to support the game."
