I'm sure there's some way you could keep them balanced. :)
Also, if this DLC ever came out. . .

For what suggesting that Chaos, Orks, and Eldar are all more popular than Sisters of Battle?
"Historically" is a bit of a stretch, don't you think? ;) But yes, the Custodes can be either male or female.
But, but, those are all Heretic and Xenos factions. o_o
I think if they were going to add more playable characters they'd want to keep them within the Imperium. (Well, I suppose they'd need to make a "Chaos-Equivalent" for the PvP mode. Cultists Maybe? Perhaps the Possessed? )
I mean, I love Orks and Eldar, but I'd easily rather have the Adepta Sororitas in this game. XD
I truly hope to see them introduce new factions and playstyles. I'm not sure this is the game that'll happen in ---- but boy I'd be here for it.
For real, that's my dream WH40k game.
Khorne Cultist
Tzeentch Cultist
Nurgle Cultist
Slaanesh Cultist
Chaos Undivded Cultist
etc.
It looks like that's kinda what they did for all the Chaos Space Marine classes if I'm understanding the trailer videos right.
SOB would be more appropriate for Darktide, the power level of this game is such that only Chaos Space Marines or something equivalent can realistically challenge our poster boys.
