I know primaris are the future, but there's still a ton of 30k content being released, and the classic marine armor (which I understand is mk 7) is still far more iconic than mk 10. I don't dislike primaris at all, but honestly, just having mk 10 armor with some frills on it feels... very limiting.
(I know you're joking, but I've already encountered a few people who make this argument in a non-ironic way, so I wanted to take advantage of your comment to post this)
There have been primaris-sized space marines before the primaris itselfs, in lore the height varies a lot and what we see in most products is usually average. Practically every armor is tailored to fit the proportions of each marine, so it doesn't break the lore that there are armors prior to mk 10 that are primaris-sized.
Also, the Chaos Marines in PVP will likely have the same proportions as the Primaris Marines playable in coop and campaign, so it doesn't even contradict anything established in-game.
With the way the Black Library puts out content, you would be forgiven for thinking the future is all Horus Heresy all the time.
