Astartes or Primaris Space Marines

Anyone know if the space marines in this story will be the Primaris Space Marines or will Titus and company be the upgraded Primaris version since the first game?

I believe Titus has gone through the Rubicon and been upgraded to primaris.
I MAY be wrong however.

They're Primaris Marines, not Firstborn. You can see they're wearing the Primaris Mark X power armour in the gameplay footage. Titus himself got the Primaris upgrades between games.

I'm not the biggest Space Marine armour expert but I think he wore mark VII? Which was the standard SM armour before the Primaris and their mark X came along.

There is also the Mark VIII, which is basically a slightly better Mark VII with a raised Collar against Neckshots as it´s defining feature. Took the Mechanicum almost 10k years for that upgrade.

Mark IX never appeared officially.

Mark IX was banished to the same purgatory as Windows 9, I presume for the same reasons.

Primaris, but what has been shown we aren't going to be getting the neat parts of the kit. No Aggressors, inceptors, or suppressors.

They don't want us flying through the sky with an autocannon or a pair of snub nosed heavy bolters.

Mmmm, not so sure about the Aggressor bit. Take a look at the heavy class thumbnail, it has more design elements from the Aggressor built into it. Larger hood, larger shoulder plate bits that stick out. I think we might be able to play as one

The thumbnail heavy is basically a heavy intercessor with their specialist weapon, the heavy bolter and a hood on his gravis armor. Aggressors are heavy close combat specialists with light ranged weapons but powerful melee.

At 3:38 the heavy is shown in the armory. No melee weapon option, but has bolt pistol and a heavy weapon. The hood might be a cosmetic option, since they don't have it here.

This is correct. Lore is while in the deathwatch, Titus gets messed up by a Carnifex, Ultramarines find and rescue him, he is going to die though so they upgrade him while putting him back together to Primaris. I can't remember if they just did it or if it was absolutely needed to save his life.
