Who f*cking knows, this isn't the kind of thing we can know until the game actually comes out. For all we know there's nothing unusual about this game and its the same stuff as literally all other warhammer games
That writing will be in the game and ruin the immersion with current dayisms.
They willfully let a racist person work on this game, one who hates the greater part of its audience.
Go forth, replicate the Harry Potter boycott. Which I assume you also agree with having been done
I remember when most workplaces would fire employees over social media issues like that. Now there are zero repercussions.
Harry Potter devs were not going out of their way to alienate the majority triple A gamer demographic.
Idk, both boycotts seem to be born out of a dislike of what someone did and how you don't like that person so you shouldn't support the game
WH40K relies on the main demographic. Probably not a good idea to alienate them.
Idk, I haven't been seeing many people doing a mass sale of their miniatures like in previous Warhammer fiascos like 2020 or with Primaris. I think miniature enjoyers are the main market
I mean, you can ad hominem and call Asmon whatever you like, but it doesn't change the fact that he is 100% correct about what he said, people are sick of the double standards and ultimately he has a good point.
He is also almost certainly going to play Space Marine 2, and was cool with people boycotting Hogwarts Legacy as long as they didn't harass other people who were playing it.
If people want to skip buying SM2 or HogLeg then let them, there is nothing wrong with that and never has been. It was only an issue with HogLeg because people started harassing Harry potter fans and sending threats to streamers.
His point is null, due to the controversy occuring two years ago and having already been handled. He only presented information meant to incite outrage, but nothing about the company's prior statement or how she no longer works here. Due to leaving out the whole story to simply push forth a culture war narrative, he is a grifter
And yeah, people can skip out on buying, their money thejr choice . But harassing has occured. I've had to close my DMs on ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ to friends only due to it for example. I'm simply commenting on how the people likely to boycott over SM2 and demand people be fired are most likely to not view past boycotts such as the Harry Potter one as equal to their own
