This game is not developed by Games Workshop, stop boycotting

This game seems like developed with passion, and boycotting it will only hurt the developers who love 40k and spend so much time developing this game.

The 'Blackrock' argument?

Blackrock only owns around 6% shares. That's not enough to leverage any business decisions as far as Games Workshop goes. You need at a minimum of 20% shares to have any weight on the franchise.

To argue that ownership stake is "all" the influence BR has is naive about what it is.

I have difficulty believing that the recent canonical changes are purely coincidental with companies like it & Amazon buying into the brand. That's too convenient.

I cannot believe I have got four jesters because of this post...... Yes, the IP is owned by Games Workshop, but these developers are NOT, and this game is developed by people who love and enjoy the 40K universe! You guys are boycotting the wrong company. Also, I fail to see how this game is "racist and heterophobe", what are you guys talking about??? Why bring "Blackrock" to the conservation? They have nothing to do with this game.

The culture war isn't really about the game, it's just people upset with their lives and the experience of getting older trying to blame whatever they can. That's why facts aren't going to get anywhere, really.

I doubt there'll be much of an actual effective boycott though - if the game's good it'll suddenly be 'un-woke' at launch.

THIS IS GAMES WORKSHOP INTELLECTUAL PROPETY LICENSED TO A DEVELOPER> ERGO, GAMES WORKSHOP ASN THEY ARE BENEFITING FROM THE PAYMENTS. A BOYCOTT IS TO BOYCOTT THEIR IP. If they can't make money, then they will redirect their efforts back to those that made them money in the first place, THEIR AUDIENCE. If they wish to allow 1/10 of 1% of the world population to dictate a STORY, then they should pay a price for doing so. THAT SIMPLE. I SAY BOYCOTT< you waste your time and money if you want. I mean, let's go with the logic here. The only people who'd actually make a dent that'd GW would notice with a boycott are the main audience. AKA those who buy miniatures

Everything else barely makes a dent with GW. If nobody buys the game then, to them its oh well. Gaming ventures gone, lets just not do that again and focus on producing more miniatures
