Adeptus Mechanics: Role in the Game?
So, we've seen some Admech in the gameplay footage. Specifically, one who's either a tech priest or skitarii running by the player. What role do you think they'll play in the game?

I'm thinking we might hopefully be able to interact and see some Admech stuff in the game, such as skitarii variants. Maybe even be able to see some of their rituals and rites. As for role, I think they'll play a tertiary support role to both the player and the imperial guard, seeing them activate and upkeep various bits of machinery

I really hope we get a better level of weapon customization personally. If we were able to visit an Admech character, whether reoccurring or a different one for each location, to add mods like scopes/reflex sights or barrel attachments to our guns, I'd be pretty happy.

Oooo that'd be fun, and something I could see happening with the primary bolt rifle tbh. Have the character change it out for one of the three base varients, and I think the heavy bolt rifle has a few variants as well. That'd be a fun way to handle that!

I think it'd cause minor frustration to find out you dislike how a gun plays so you'll have to wait until the next encounter to modify but at the same time. You'd likely be able to go back

Would be little different than the relative rarity of weapon swap opportunities in Space Marine 1, though I suppose that would likely come across as an antiquated system and/or low QoL today.

Eh, feth making an ultra streamlined QoL features of today. Let's get down with that ancient stuff and throw in some real challenge

Plus, not like a loading the last point wouldn't fix that

I was hoping for full customisation like this too. In the art book there are 3 variants of plasma incinerator with different sights, fuel cells, laser sight etc. At first I thought that meant we could customise the weapons, but I learned that it was actually the 3 existing variants of the incinerator, normal, assault, and heavy just with heavy missing its hose.

I believe it more likely that they are just going to do a ton of weapons and variants on those weapons and balance them around their sights as they are. Heavy incinerator lacks sights is slow but more damage, Assault incinerator is weaker but has sights to snipe with etc.

Unfortunate, but at least there are a metric ton of weapons and weapon variants to draw from, so hopefully we should get at least like 40 weapons/variants.
