No italian dubbing?
Why the game have not a italian dubbing?
I was looking forward to the game release, and since the first Space Marines was dubbed in Italian, I took for granted that even this was. What a disappointment.
I don’t think I’ll play it in this condition. Back to play Helldivers 2

im not shaming here, i respect that take. but you want to consume something like warhammer in non english language ? honest question, i'm not native english speaker myself but there are many forms of media i can't imagine enjoying in my native tongue.

I can understand the sentiment but maybe someone isnt really good in english, for example im good at english but my brother isnt so if i made him play he wouldent understand really what is being told to him
It looks like it supports Italian Subtitles, do you have that enabled?

Well, if he wants to understand then he can look up what he doesnt understand. Let me tell you, i am no native speaker myself and i hated learning English in school but a couple years of youtube, gaming forums and videogames basically forced me to learn english and now i dont even watch anything in my mothertongue anymore. He can even start with watching tv-shows like sitcoms or cartoons, because they usually use rather basic english for as big of an audience they can get.

And dont tell me your brother cant do it. We all can, we just learn in different ways and in a different amount of time (unless there is some extremely rare case of genetic mutation that doesnt allow you to speak other languages).

Somehow find it funny the idea of hearing a heavy italian space marine shouting "Santo Imperatore! cos'è questa eresia?? Mamma mia..."

In Italy every form of media is completely dubbed in italian, every movies are in italian, all the TV shows, netflix series, anime ecc. The only one media that sometimes wasn't dubbed in our language are the videogames, and this sound strange, cold and unemotional for us that we are used to enjoying everything in our mother language. Almost as if the game was still incomplete or a low level product.

Dubbing is basically raping the original product. It takes away the original actors subtlety and intentions and skill away. Altho in a game like Space Marine 2 it doesnt really matter that much as its not Shakespeare.
Total bruh moment when you realize the game stars the Ultramarines, fully based on imperialist Rome.

This thread was quite old before the recent post, so we're locking it to prevent confusion.
