Sons of the Phoenix:
There's a theory that this chapter was made with Emperor's Children geneseed. The traitor primarch Fulgrim was also know as 'the Phoenician' so this chapter is sus.
Dark Angels:
This chapter is notorious for outright abandoning the Imperium to pursue their own objectives - which is hunting traitor Dark Angels 99.9% of the time. Dark Angels try to keep these traitor Dark Angels a secret from the rest of the Imperium. So also very sus.
Like what if Angron had the nails taken out of his head.....
Though from memory there were apparently World Eaters who refused the Nails. Particularly Psykers, who had an all but 100% failure rate keeping their own powers from turning them inside out with the feedback from the Nails influencing them. The Psykers eventually stopped being favored, though. I think there was one World Eaters "traitor" at the end.
I had this fan fiction idea, that angron loses the nails, uses his original healing powers but boosted by the warp to cure his legion, sacrificing himself in the process.
I can have him say "let the sins of my sons fall onto me" as he sacrifices himself.
