Of course, it depends on if you can afford it comfortably
If possible, I'd possibly recommend a GTX 1660 TI, I've found I've been able to play most new releases on medium graphics minimum at 1080p with it though
As for the Amazon sale, probably?
i cant say id expect the 1660 TI to play sm2 on high or ultra, obviously cost is a factor or id just but a 4090 s/ti/whatever, buying the 4070S currently theyre £550 im hoping they might drop to closer to £400 but even if they dont i can get it id jsut want it to last 4/5 years like this 1660s has.
if it wont last another 4/5 years for the price/power difference between the 4060 (£284) ill just get that instead. im expecting the extra 4gb ram to let it hold out an extra year before ill reach this point again.
Oh yeah, the 1660TI is nearing its end of life, should be considered a full low grade in about. 4-6 years I'd say? I'm able to play HD2 on medium graphics pretty solidly with it for example. Possibly high? I'm unsure as I toned it down due to the performance issues the game faced before the Automaton invasion. But I don't expect ultra got Space Marine 2
But yeah, the extra RAM should be able to help a wee bit. I'd invest in the 4070 if you can afford it easily. It should last you about 10 or so years as well
But if you're on a tight budget I'd buy a used 4070 ti .
if you have to use Nvidia that is, or you can get more for less with an AMD
great thanks :)
understood ty for the info
ok so aiming abit higher if i can, also ive had too many bad experiences with AMD gfx cards to go back, only 1 out of the 5 ive ever had didnt give me constant problems, mainly the drivers.
But the 4Gb extra between a Super and a normal 4070 Ti is quite a lot better, look at the benchmarks.
But yeah, I wouldn't really buy a 50 or 60 of any card unless I just "had to have the newest series as soon as they come out" in general the previous 70 version is quite a bit better then the new 50 or 60.
The 90's are usually not worth the cost either since they tend to not add enough to warrant the extra 3-700 euro/dollars, the 80's or the S versions tend to be the best bang for the buck even if the 80's are also a bit overpriced a lot of the time (for the first year or so).
