Hypothetically speaking, it might be the armor skins that have the head crests, but honestly, I don't really know. But more reveals will be coming.

I really like the fact that it's only Cosmetic stuff in the DLC's....I do get some FOMO but it's not something I can't ignore and I can just buy the standard version now =)

And yes I can wait 3-4 days since I don't know anyone playing it anyway so will be SP or randoms if you "have to coop", I did meet some cool people in Helldivers 2, I normally kind of refuse to play with randoms but in that game it worked out luckily so hoping it would here as well

plume hairs seem to be "rank" unlockable cosmetics

There are some videos out there showing what it is probably (Not the actual content as it was not in the preview build, but the DLC pack description), but obviously take it with a bit of grain and salt.
What it contains is basically cosmetics decals and colour sets:
12 Ultramarine successor chapters
21 Chapter decals
14 Colour packs
3 Unique helmets available for all classes

That is not the champion pack, that is part of the season pass.

The champion pack will hold a chest piece and a heavy bolter skin. I have not been able to find a image still though.
