All dlc is cosmetic?

Heard this somewhere. Is it true.

Does this mean if I buy the cheapest version all I miss out on are stupid cosmetics?

The only dlcs that seem to be available on launch that are not in the season pass are cosmetics.
The season pass we have no clue what will be in it, because it is basically just a preorder of future dlc.

In SM 1 all the DLC was either skins for your character and weapons, or map packs.

I hope they don't do the map packs again; at least not in the same fashion. Last time it split the player base into so many pools that it became difficult to find random matches way to early in the games life.

A: There aren't any microtransactions in Space Marine 2. No in-game cash shop. All gameplay content and features will be free to all players. Any paid DLCs will be cosmetic only.

Yeah that's the exact text that led me to make this post, I hope to god they ain't lying.

I'll believe it when I see it lol I cancelled my pre order gunna wait for launch to see if they pull a fast one or something

It seems to be another one of those situations like in Borderlands 2 where the developer claimed there were no microtransactions but didn't really take into account that separate cosmetic DLC pre-order bonuses could be considered microtransactions of a sort?

But yeah, they're claiming there's gonna be no in-game shop, so no microtransactions unless you're very strict in how you define them.

oh my god seriously dlc?? bro i swear the last normal multiplayer game i played was doom 2016, so now what, anyone using cosmetic mods will be banned

pretty sure they got a breakdown of the different versions and what they include on the Store Page. Feel free to take a look.

they said in the FAQ that its all cosmetic so here is hoping they don't lock weapons/armour and actual content behind a paywall after saying it was all cosmetic.

ok than is standart the best. when every dlc incl. season pass are only cosmetic
