Librarian / Psyker class

Love what I've seen, but is there any confirmation we won't be able to play as a librarian or psyker? Is it too OP for this kind of game?

Lore accurate Librarians are probably not going to happen here. I'd rather they make solid classes that are true to lore rather than make a watered down version of OP cool things. Maybe if the game takes off we could see special modes that would allow them in without invalidating other classes. Like dreadnaughts or terminators.

If they are going to hold back any class to sell as DLC later the Librarian would be an obvious one since it would sell. Or they could have just considered it too OP to include. Still others too like Techmarine, Apothecary, and Chaplains.

I don't think any Warhammer game has done psykers really well sadly.

Even darktide which is a fun game it doesn't feel... Magical enough? I don't feel like a grand wizard I feel like a frail guy throwing stones while a behemoth and a man yell and kill 100 enemies by Punching them harder than I can throw lightning

they said that all DLC would be cosmetic, there will not be any unique stuff gameplaywise sold and all gameplay additions like that will be free.

They might add them, but they will be free, based on what they have promised as how they stated no gameplay altering factors such as new classes will be locked behind a paywall.

Sure, they would have to make the classes balanced. But it's pretty normal for games to scale power up/down to make the game play better.
